Just found out this morning that Grass, Sky, Song has been listed, along with four very fine books by other Canadian writers, for the 2009 Writers' Trust Non-fiction Prize. Here is a news story about the shortlisting announcement in today's Canadian Press. (Scroll down past the fiction story to get the list of non-fiction nominees.)
And here is the official announcement from Writers Trust: http://www.writerstrust.com/pdf/WTA_Finalists_2009.pdf
Congratulations, Trevor! Great to see this fine book on the list!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! Well deserved.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. I recommend this book to everyone I talk to about the environment and the prairies. I was just talking last week to a rancher in Alberta and told him about it (after he told me about a book called The Omnivore's Dilemma which I have to check out).
ReplyDeleteCongrat's Trevor, you wrote a wonderful book. Keep up the good work (important work) looking forward to more...Neil
ReplyDeleteBest of luck, Trevor!
